The Alameda Aero Club is a small, all volunteer, non-profit flying club dedicated to promoting general aviation and providing our members with well-maintained, inexpensive airplanes. We are based at the North Field of Oakland International Airport, across the Bay from San Francisco in Northern California. We have 7 aircraft — a Diamond DA40 G1000, a Piper Arrow, a Piper Cherokee, and four Cessna 172s– that are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for club members (via our web-based reservation system). We also have an experienced group of full-time and part-time FAA-certificated instructors offering instruction for club members- so come and fly (or get that instrument rating/commercial/CFI) with us!

You will not find a friendlier or more accessible club in our area. (However, please keep in mind that this is an all-volunteer club, and we really welcome members who can assist in club activities from time-to-time.)
