Insurance

The Alameda Aero Club carries insurance for member pilots, passengers, and planes through CV STARR. / Bramar Associates Insurance Services, Inc. Here are the main elements of the policy:

Usage: Instruction and rental (for non-commercial purposes)

Liability Limit:

$1,000,000 Combined single limit of bodily injury and property damage including passengers. Passenger liability limits to $100,000 per passenger seat.

Student / Renter Liability limits:

$1,000,000 Combined single limit of bodily injury and property damage including passengers. Passenger liability limits to $100,000 per passenger seat.

Hull Coverage and Deductible:

All aircraft except N22QT: Ground and Flight Coverage with deductibles of $2500 while not in motion and $2500 while in motion, each and every loss.

N22QT: Ground and Flight Coverage with deductibles of $2500 while not in motion and $5000 while in motion, each and every loss

Note: members are individually generally responsible only for the deductible under club rules (see the club bylaws for exceptions and caveats).

Medical:

$3,000 any one person, including crew.
