Congratulations to Christopher LeBailly, our newest instrument pilot!!! Chris took some time off from work this fall to fly, study, and complete his instrument rating. Chris dazzled DPE Richard Conte this afternoon by answering all his questions and then flying 739UL from Sacramento McClellan Airport to numerous airports hither and yon without ever looking outside, and then landing safely.  He is now “cleared for IFR departure”.  

Chris was then finally able to discharge his CFI passenger back in Oakland, as said CFI is no longer required.     

Job well done Chris!!!   Next up??? Maybe a  complex endorsement in 747JS??.
