Gorgeous skies and calm winds proved to be an excellent day for Javier Soto Bustos to do his first solo here at Oakland last Saturday! He was more than ready and proved it with three excellent landings (which Drew and I watched). Congratulations Javier on a job well done!
We will be showing Red Tails, a movie about the Tuskegee Airmen.
Chili and beverages will be provided, and we have volunteers to bring a green salad and apple pie.
If you’d like to come and help set up, show up around 6. Dinner & hangar talk at 6:30. Movie at 7 pm.
